INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup wholemeal self raising flour
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp raw sugar
1/2 tsp dry yeast
1/4 cup melted vegan butter/margarine

  • 1 tsp tomato purée
  • Sprinkle of basil & oregano
  • Small handful of green onion
  • 1 slice of vegan cheese, cut into strips
  • More butter or vegetable oil to brush

DIRECTIONS:

1️⃣ Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and mix. Add the melted butter (it should be warm but not hot) mix to form a soft dough.
2️⃣ Brush the bowl with a little oil and let it rest for 30 mins.
3️⃣ Preheat oven to 190°C. Transfer dough to a clean floured surface and roll out into a long strip.
4️⃣ Top with tomato purée, cheese, onion and spices. Roll it up to form a scroll. Cut off any uneven bits and place inside a greased ramekin.
5️⃣ Bake for 20-25 mins at 190°C or until golden.
