Welcome again to the home of Easy Healthy Recipes on Budget, Today i will guide you how to make “Sesame Garlic Mushrooms & Broccoli with Noodles”. I made this Delicious recipe a few days ago, and I absolutely loved it and enjoyed it with my family. It came out very tasty and flavorful.
Don’t worry it’s easy! This delicious healthy recipe is easy to make and i walks you through the steps and all the ingredients on how to make it!


8 oz baby Bella mushrooms (also called cremini) wiped clean & then sliced into chunky quarters
2 tbl tamari
2 tbl lemon juice
1 tbl toasted sesame oil + 2 tsp
3 garlic cloves minced
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp ginger powder
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
whole wheat spaghetti (8oz)
3 cups of broccoli florets & their stalks thinly sliced through the length
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup yellow onion thinly sliced
pepper to taste
lemon wedges & toasted sesame seeds (optional) for serving


🍄 Place mushrooms in a reusable bag or shallow dish. In a small bowl whisk together soy sauce, lemon juice, 1 tbl oil, garlic, maple syrup, ginger, & crushed red pepper. Seal the bag, turn to coat. Marinate at least 15 min🍄In a large pot, bring water to a boil, salt water well. Cook pasta al dente, & reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.🍄Meanwhile, combine florets, stalks, & water in a large nonstick skillet (or wok) bring to a boil over med heat. Cook until water evaporates, 3-5 min. Add onion, & the remaining 2 tsp of oil, salt & pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until broccoli is bright green, crisp, & a bit tender, 3-5 min. Transfer & set aside.🍄Drain the mushrooms, reserving the marinade. Then add to pan over med heat until golden & caramelized, 7-9 min, turning mushrooms over around the 5 min mark. Transfer & set aside🍄Combine the reserved pasta water & marinade into the pan (or wok), add the noodles. Cook over med heat, stirring, until the sauce has thickened slightly, 2-3 min. Add broccoli & mushrooms, heat through. Serve topped with toasted sesame seeds & lemon wedges (app 3-4 servings)
